At Jackman’s Art Materials, we take great care to ensure that the colour swatches and images displayed on our website accurately represent our watercolour paints. However, due to the nature of digital and physical colour spaces—and variations in screen settings—there may be slight differences between what you see on your device and what appears on paper.

Pricing Transparency

Our paint prices are based on the pigment used and the craftsmanship required during production. Some pigments are rare, difficult to source, or more complex to process—impacting both cost and time. We’re committed to fair, transparent pricing that reflects the quality and care put into every tube, pot, and pan of our finest professional watercolours.

Safe Use of Watercolour Paints

By purchasing our products, you agree to use them responsibly and only as intended—for artistic use on paper. Please keep paints out of reach of children, pets, and anyone unable to follow safety guidelines.

General Safety Guidelines

• Do not ingest paint or inhale pigment dust.
• Do not use as makeup, body paint, or on skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mouth while painting.
• Do not eat, drink, or smoke in your painting area.
• If using a mouth atomiser or straw-splatter technique, take precautions—especially with pigments containing material advisories.

First Aid & Cleanup

If paint comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with clean water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice. Thoroughly clean your painting area after each session.

Environmentally Responsible Disposal

To minimise environmental impact, never pour paint water down the drain. Instead, let rinse water evaporate in a sand bucket kept in sunlight. Dispose of used paper and cleaning materials according to local hazardous waste guidelines.
