Julie began painting at an early age, inspired by colour and shapes in nature. Her career as a printed textile designer has been a strong influence on her work.

Passionate about watercolour, but versatile in painting in other mediums, Julie who lives on the Kent - Sussex border, runs classes and workshop and demonstrates to art societies. She also enjoys teaching on cruise ships and has a selection of online tutorial videos available on her website.

Julie regularly contributes articles to the UK’s Leisure Painter magazine and has written several successful books on flower painting, published by Search Press.
