Fresh and bright

Love this colour. Great imas a single but also mixes very well. Jackmans watercolours are exceptional and give a rich and light touch to any project.

Value for money fantastic quality.

A colour that glows with a light radiance, not heavy like the cadmiums. Perfect for primroses.

I now have managed to buy sixteen of Jackman's watercolours, having been recommended by Michele Webber. I have also bought one of their paintbrushes. I have found the colours to be very vibrant and highly pigmented. They are a joy to use. Buttercup is my latest purchase and is well described. It is exactly the right colour to paint the yellow spring flowers. I find that by underpainting area's with "Petal shadow" another of Jackman's exceptional colours, I have the perfect shadow colours for Buttercup. No more muddy yellow shading. I shall continue to add to my Jackman's collection and advise you to also.
