Phthalo Blue Indian Ink (PB15:1) | Professional Water-Resistant Ink - Jackman's Art Materials

Phthalo Blue Indian Ink – Phthalocyanine Blue (PB15:1)

**Fast-drying, water-resistant, and lightfast**, this brilliant **Phthalo Blue Indian Ink** is made with professional-grade **Copper Phthalocyanine Blue pigment (PB15:1)** in a high-quality **shellac-based binder**.

Ideal for use with **dip pens**, **brushes**, or **airbrushes**, this rich, cool blue is a favorite among illustrators, artists, calligraphers, and designers. *Not suitable for use in fountain pens.*

This ink is easily adjustable—dilute it with distilled water to reduce its strength or increase its transparency. Avoid tap water, which can cause pigment separation from the binder.

Greath depth of colour

Ink compares very favourably with other pigmented shellac inks on the market. The pigment load is higher than the Higgins phthalo blue but equals Kremer's version, although Kremer's shellac vehicle is richer. Jackman's is also the only brand I know of that offers a red earth shellac-based ink.
