Professional Handmade Watercolour
Also Known As: Phthalocyanine Blue RS, Transparent Blue & Winsor Blue RS
An organic synthetic pigment, copper phthalocyanine. It is a deep and intense blue which approaches black in masstone and has a red undertone. It has great tinting abilities, is transparent, completely permanent and has staining properties.
Made over a period of 2 days our Phthalo Blue is formulated using only a single pigment with the highest percentage possible and blended into our new distilled water gum base mix, we then run it over our traditional 3 roll mill until the pigment is fully dispersed and the texture buttery soft, after months of testing our unique formula allows us to create the following:
* Unparalleled flow of colour to white on paper
* Outstanding dissolvability of pigment when mixed with water
* Extremely vibrant highly pigmented colours
Each batch is throughly checked against previous batches to ensure colour, vibrancy & viscosity are exactly the same
Our watercolours are perfect for artists of all experience from beginners to advanced who value high quality materials

How to paint a watercolour mixing chart
𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞: There is a printing error of P.W 6 on the labelling of the tube under Pigment c.i number, this watercolour does not contain any white pigment or any other pigment apart from P.BI 15.3 in the formulation
Great colour, exactly what I would expect
...baby, I love you! A vibrant, strong Spring-like blue which works well for eyes, sky and adding shadows too... love it. I really like all the colours in the range but favour some and this is one of them.
The quality is clear from the small amount I have tried so far - the paints are very bright and when they dry you can see strength and vibrancy that you don't get in other brands or from using pan colours in boxes. Well done Jackman's! Really pleased with the results x
