Jackman’s Sage Green is a very interesting and suggestive colour. It tends to separate in hue and settle into a somewhat granular effect ,more on some papers than others. It strikes me as an excellent colour as an addition to predominantly tonal or earth-palette paintings, where it could be a useful granular green. But there’s also scope to combine it with all sorts of other hues.

I am really happy with the color, there is beautiful granulation, and you can go from a very dark value to a very light one.

Beautiful natural green

This is has to be one of my most used jackmans watercolours, it's has a beautiful granulation so provided great texture in natural landscapes. Perfect for mossy tree trunks, or distant tree or hills.
